Terminal 2 is Manchester's newest and largest, extended as part of the airport's transformation programme, and handles most long-haul departures. Manchester Airport sits south of the city beside the M56, reached from Junction 5. Set your satnav to M90 1QX for the terminal complex; the individual terminal approach roads split shortly after the junction, so know your terminal before you leave the motorway.
