Official Gatwick prices by the day, and the daily rate falls as the stay lengthens. The per-day figure roughly halves between a long weekend and a fortnight. Below are three stay lengths, before and after code BCP25.
| Stay length | Pre-booked | With BCP25 | Saving |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 days | £42 | £34 | £8 |
| 7 days | £72 | £58 | £14 |
| 14 days | £112 | £90 | £22 |
No, and by a clear margin. Cophall at £40 and APH at £46 both undercut Official Long Stay at £62 for the same eight days with the same code. Gatwick's own car parks are among the most expensive on-airport products in the UK relative to their off-site alternatives.
What the extra £16 to £22 buys is staying inside the airport boundary — a shorter, airport-operated shuttle, and no third party between you and the airport if something goes wrong. For a 4am departure in bad weather, or for anyone who has had an off-site shuttle fail on them, that is a defensible reason to pay it. For a routine summer holiday it is money you do not need to spend.
| Comparison | 8 days | vs Official Gatwick | Verdict |

| Ace Parking meet & greet | £48 | £14 cheaper | Rival wins |

Follow the terminal signs, then the Long Stay signs for your terminal — North and South have separate Long Stay car parks and they are not interchangeable, so getting the terminal right at Junction 9A matters. The barrier reads your plate. Park, note your row, and walk to the marked shuttle stop; buses run every few minutes and take five to ten minutes to the terminal. On return the shuttle collects from a stand outside arrivals.
Gatwick's own car parks hold Park Mark accreditation and sit inside the airport's security perimeter, patrolled by airport security rather than a contracted third party. Entry and exit are barrier-controlled with ANPR, the sites are fenced, lit and CCTV-monitored throughout, and keys stay with you.
What accreditation actually means is set out in our off-site parking safety guide.
Gatwick has better EV provision than most UK airports, with chargers in both the Short Stay and Long Stay estates at each terminal. Charging cannot be reserved alongside a parking booking and is charged separately from the parking, so treat it as a convenience rather than a guarantee if you are arriving on low charge.
Bookings made directly with Gatwick can normally be amended or cancelled ahead of arrival, with the window depending on the rate. Gatwick's flexible rates are clearly separated from its non-flexible ones at checkout, which is better than most operators. Flight tracking applies for late returns when a flight number is supplied.
Our cancellation guide explains why the flexible rate usually beats paid cover.
Reviews of Gatwick's own car parks are steady rather than enthusiastic, which is roughly what you want from an on-airport product. The praise is for shuttle frequency and for the sense that you are inside the airport rather than on a field somewhere. The recurring complaint is price — reviewers who have used off-site operators at Gatwick routinely note the £20 gap and question what it buys. That is a fair question and the honest answer is: shorter transfer, airport accountability, and not much else.
On-airport official car parks are the products most frequently excluded from platform-wide discount codes. If a code fails at Gatwick, this is usually why — try it on an off-site operator before assuming the code is dead.
