What Ace Parking is, and how it works

Valet parking means the transaction happens at the terminal: keys out on the way in, keys back on the way out. The compound is somewhere else and is not really your concern, which is the appeal and also the thing to be comfortable with.

At Gatwick Airport specifically, our set runs £40 to £72 for the same eight days, and where a quote falls in that range says more than the discount attached to it. Gatwick sits beside the M23 in West Sussex, between Horley and Crawley, and is reached from Junction 9A — the airport spur.

Ace Parking covers Terminals North and South at Gatwick. Gatwick has two terminals, North and South, connected by a free inter-terminal shuttle that takes about three minutes and runs continuously. That shuttle is why terminal choice matters less at Gatwick than at Manchester — a car park serving the other terminal costs you a few minutes, not a taxi fare. Gatwick Airport railway station sits directly beneath South Terminal, which is why South is the default for anyone combining rail and parking.

What Ace Parking should cost at Gatwick

Rather than print a price we have not checked, here is the whole Gatwick field on one booking: eight days, departing within thirty. Find the meet and greet rows and you have the range Ace Parking needs to sit inside to be competitive.

The spread at Gatwick is £32 between the cheapest and the dearest product on the same dates, and picking the right product tier is worth several times picking the right brand. A code moves you a few pounds inside that range. Choosing the right tier moves you across it.

Is Ace Parking the cheapest option?

The honest answer

No, and no valet product at Gatwick is. The floor is £40 on Cophall Parking. Meet and greet is bought for the twenty minutes it saves at each end, not for the price.

We run this section on every operator page including the ones we earn commission from, and we name the cheaper option where there is one. That comparison is run across all Gatwick operators on the Gatwick Airport parking discount code page.

What we have verified, and what we have not

Handover at the forecourt at both North and South Terminals. Listed among the Gatwick brands on the old homepage, which is what settles the airport question here.

Against that, here is what we have not been able to confirm for Ace Parking, and which we will not state as fact until we have:

  • Compound location
  • Park Mark status
  • Cancellation terms

Everything above this line has a source. Everything in that list does not, and we would rather draw the line visibly than blur it. If you have booked with Ace Parking recently and any of the above is wrong or missing, the contact page reaches a person.

Getting to Gatwick

Typical drive times are 45 minutes from central London, 30 from Croydon, an hour from Brighton and around 25 minutes from the M25 at Junction 7. The M25 either side of Junction 7 is the reliable bottleneck; allow an extra 30 minutes for a departure between 6am and 9am.

The postcode on your booking confirmation is the car park, not the terminal. At Gatwick that distinction sends people to the wrong side of the airport more often than any other booking error. Gatwick charges £6 for up to 10 minutes outside North and South Terminal departures, with no free grace period to pull into the drop-off zone, which is the number to weigh a lift against. Full table in the UK drop-off charges guide.

How to use the Ace Parking code

  • 1
    Open the form
No retyping: the button that names a code is the button that applies it.
  • 2
    Set your dates and times
Round the return time outward rather than inward if you are unsure.
  • 3
Check the total, not the percentage
A larger percentage off a dearer product loses to a smaller one off a cheaper one.
  • 4
    Add your flight number
Without it, a delayed inbound flight is your problem rather than the car park's.

Ace Parking FAQs

Is there an Ace Parking discount code?
Yes — BCP25, worth up to 25% off the pre-booked price. Every button on this page opens the quote form with it already filled in. At Gatwick that pre-booked price is £50 for eight days on the cheapest product, against £88 if you simply drive up.
Where do I enter the Ace Parking code?
Nowhere by hand: the button fills it in for you and the discount comes off before payment. What will not work is taking the code elsewhere. These are negotiated rates on our platform rather than public operator promotions.
Is Ace Parking the cheapest parking at Gatwick?
On our figures, the cheapest at Gatwick is Cophall Parking — £40 for eight days with a code. We publish that number on every page at this airport precisely so a brand page cannot quietly imply otherwise.
How far is Ace Parking from Gatwick?
Not something we have confirmed. In practice the number that matters is on your booking email rather than on this page, and it is not RH6 0NP, which belongs to Gatwick's terminal.
What happens to an Ace Parking booking if my flight is delayed?
It is handled automatically, assuming the flight number is right. What is not covered is a change of flight you did not tell them about, which is a different situation from a delay and usually does cost something.
Can I cancel an Ace Parking booking?
Cancellation terms are the operator's, not ours, and they vary more than any other part of an airport parking booking — some refund in full up to 24 hours out, others not at all once booked. The terms shown at checkout are the ones that apply. Our cancellation guide explains what the common wordings actually mean.
