Getting to Heathrow

Set your satnav to TW6 1QG for the central terminal area, but check your terminal first — Terminal 5 and Terminal 4 have their own approaches and crossing between them by road takes 15 minutes on a good day. Typical drive times are 45 minutes from central London, 30 from Reading and an hour from Guildford.

The address on the confirmation is the one to drive to. It is rarely the airport's own, and at Heathrow the two can be several minutes and one wrong turning apart.
