Official Birmingham prices by the day, and the daily rate falls as the stay lengthens. The per-day figure roughly halves between a long weekend and a fortnight. Below are three stay lengths, before and after code BCP25.
| Stay length | Pre-booked | With BCP25 | Saving |

No, and by the widest margin in the UK for an on-airport product against its own airport's budget option. Car Park 5, also run by Birmingham Airport, costs £38 for eight days against Car Park 1's £76. You are paying double for a two-minute walk instead of a ten-minute shuttle.
For a short trip that is defensible — on a two-day booking the gap narrows considerably and the convenience wins. For eight days it is a lot of money for a walk. The exception is accessibility: Car Park 1 holds the accessible bays and is level throughout, which for some travellers is not a preference but a requirement.

Follow M42 Junction 6 and the signs for Car Park 1 — not simply for the airport, and not for Car Park 5, which is a different destination entirely. The barrier reads your plate. Park and walk; the route to the terminal is two to three minutes and level throughout, and the Air-Rail Link to Birmingham International station runs from the same terminal building if you are meeting someone off a train.
Car Park 1 holds Park Mark accreditation and sits inside Birmingham Airport's security perimeter, with barrier-controlled ANPR, fencing, lighting and CCTV. Because it is terminal-adjacent and busy, it is also the most overlooked part of the airport's estate in terms of footfall, which is a security advantage in itself.
What accreditation actually means is set out in our off-site parking safety guide.
Birmingham's EV chargers are concentrated in Car Park 1 and the terminal-adjacent estate rather than in Car Park 5. If you need to charge while away, this is the Birmingham product to book. Charging is billed separately and cannot be reserved with the parking.
Bookings can normally be amended or cancelled ahead of arrival under Birmingham Airport's own terms, with the window depending on the rate booked. Flight tracking holds the space for a late return when a flight number was supplied.
Our cancellation guide explains why the flexible rate usually beats paid cover.
Car Park 1 reviews are good on convenience and consistently critical on price. The praise is for the walk — short, level, sheltered for part of the route, and genuinely easy with luggage or children. The recurring complaint is the same one that appears at Manchester and Bristol: travellers discovering after booking that the same airport runs a car park at half the price ten minutes away. The product is good; the way the options are presented is not.
Terminal-adjacent official car parks are the products most often excluded from platform-wide codes. If a code will not apply to Car Park 1, try it on Car Park 5.
