What FlyParks is, and how it works

Park and ride puts you a few miles out and buses you in. You keep the keys and the car stays where you left it. In exchange for the transfer at both ends it is normally the lowest price available at any UK airport.

At Exeter Airport specifically, the field runs from £27 to £38 for eight days, which is the range any quote here has to be read against. Exeter handles around 1 million passengers a year from a compact single terminal beside the M5 in East Devon, serving the South West peninsula and the Channel Islands.

What FlyParks should cost at Exeter

We price the airport rather than guess at the operator. Below is every product we track at Exeter on the same eight-day stay; the park and ride rows are the ones to read a FlyParks quote against.

Eight days at Exeter, departing within 30 days. Checked 10 September 2026.

Official Short StayOn-airport£78£48£38

The spread at Exeter is £11 between the cheapest and the dearest product on the same dates, and the difference between the categories dwarfs the difference between operators inside them. That is the single most useful thing to understand about Exeter pricing before comparing any two quotes.

Is FlyParks the cheapest option?

The honest answer

Not on the figures we hold. The cheapest product at Exeter is Official Long Stay at £27 for eight days with a code. Until we can take a checked quote for FlyParks, treat that as the number it has to beat.

Where a rival is cheaper we say so and link to it, regardless of the commercial relationship. The whole Exeter field, priced side by side, is on the Exeter Airport parking discount code page.

What we have verified, and what we have not

An Exeter park and fly product. Whether FlyParks operates its own site or resells another operator's is not established, and at an airport this small that is the difference between one car park and a booking front for the same one.

Against that, here is what we have not been able to confirm for FlyParks, and which we will not state as fact until we have:

  • Operator or reseller
  • Site location
  • Shuttle frequency

Every one of those is the kind of detail routinely invented on pages like this one. An unchecked figure is worse than no figure, because it looks checked. If you have booked with FlyParks recently and any of the above is wrong or missing, the contact page reaches a person.

Getting to Exeter

Exeter Airport sits at Clyst Honiton beside the M5, reached from Junction 29 and the A30. Typical drive times are 15 minutes from Exeter city centre, 45 from Torquay, an hour from Plymouth and around 90 minutes from Bristol.

Programme the car park's postcode before you set off rather than at the junction. Exeter's approach roads are not a good place to be re-entering a destination. Being dropped off is not free here: Exeter charges free for a short period in the terminal drop-off area, unusually among UK airports. The UK drop-off charges guide lists every airport's tariff.

How to use the FlyParks code

  • 1
    Open the form
Every code button here fills the discount field for you before the form opens.
  • 2
    Set your dates and times
Quote the times you will actually arrive, not the flight times.
  • 3
Check the total, not the percentage
Twenty-five per cent of a big number is not a bargain. Read the bottom line.
  • 4
    Add your flight number
It costs nothing and it is the difference between a held space and a lost one.

FlyParks FAQs

Is there a FlyParks discount code?
Yes. The sitewide code is BCP25, up to 25% off. It reduces the pre-booked rate, which at Exeter already sits well below the drive-up price — £34 against £54 on the cheapest eight-day booking we track.
Where do I enter the FlyParks code?
You do not have to. The button applies it and the form opens with the discount already showing. The only way to get it wrong is to take the code somewhere else and try to use it there.
Is FlyParks the cheapest parking at Exeter?
We would not claim so. Official Long Stay is cheaper than anything else we track at Exeter at £27 for eight days, and a page that told you its own subject was always cheapest would not be worth reading.
How far is FlyParks from Exeter?
Unknown to us. Use the confirmation postcode, not EX5 2BD — putting the airport's own postcode into a satnav is the single commonest way people end up at the wrong entrance at Exeter.
What happens to a FlyParks booking if my flight is delayed?
Provided the flight number is on the booking, a late arrival is absorbed without a surcharge — commonly up to 24 hours. The failure case is always the same one: a missing or mistyped flight number.
Can I cancel a FlyParks booking?
Usually, within a window the operator sets — and the window is the thing to read, because it ranges from 24 hours before arrival to no cancellation at all. It is shown at checkout. Our cancellation guide compares the common terms.
